It has been unanimaously accepted by almost all our imams of Hadith for more than 10 centuries that Dhoif hadith is not a 'rejected' hadith. Most of them consider them acceptable in fadail-e-amaal. Here is a quick reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_of_hadith#Historical_method
