INTRODUCTION
Abu Muhammad Ali ibn. Ahmad ibn. Saad ibn. Hazm or very well known as Ibn Hazm was a great Muslim scholar that gave a major contribution concerning the study of other religions particularly Judaism and Christianity, in addition with other Asian religions. World know him as the "seeker of truth", because he had always emphasized on the aim to achieve truth in studying those religions beside his critical and logical argument and methodology in his writing Kitab al-Fasl Fi al-Milal wa al-Ahwa’ wa al-Nihal. In fact, his study on other religions other than Islam centered and focused extensively on their textual analysis of their scriptures. This research paper will examine his contribution to the study on the basic Christians doctrines as well as their scriptures in above-mentioned book accordingly to his methodology used in presenting his idea. Nevertheless, the researcher will firstly present a brief biography of the author as well as a brief remark on his book.
